You don't always need to gut a bathroom to make it feel brand new. At KrisDecoLondon we specialise in cosmetic bathroom refreshes that lift the room without weeks of disruption or the cost of a full renovation. Whether it's a tired family bathroom in Hackney, a cloakroom in Islington or an en-suite in Stoke Newington, a clean, properly executed refresh can transform how the room looks and feels.

What's Included

Our bathroom refresh focuses on the finishes that do the most visible work in a steamy room: a proper moisture-resistant repaint, fresh wallpaper where you want it, and getting on top of any mould. We can also freshen up small tiled areas, but we don't take on full floor-to-ceiling bathroom tiling. Done properly, you'll wonder why anyone ever bothers with a full strip-out.

• Bathroom painting — walls, ceilings and woodwork repainted with moisture-resistant paint designed for steamy rooms
• Mould treatment — mould and mildew killed and treated around showers, ceilings and skirting, then sealed and painted over so it stays gone
• Anti-condensation and anti-damp paint applied where it's needed
• Wallpaper hanging, including moisture-tolerant papers suited to bathrooms, on a feature wall or throughout
• Small tiled areas like splashbacks, a shower recess or a feature strip, freshly tiled or patched (we don't re-tile whole bathrooms floor to ceiling)
• Surface preparation — cracks, holes and damaged plaster repaired before painting
• Silicone sealant replacement around baths, sinks and shower trays
• Light snagging — squeaky handles, loose fittings, tightening up
• Full protection of fittings and a clean handover
